TOTAL - 6 Books - 2,662 pages

This month I also started reading graphic novels (which are basically giant comic books, for those who don't know).  I don't think those should count toward the page total though, so I will list them separately.

Graphic Novels:

Ender's Game: Battle School by Orson Scott Card
Mercy Thompson: Homecoming by Patricia Briggs
The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born by Stephen King

I am really quite enjoying them.  A lot of my favorite authors are putting them out.  Most tie in with series that the author has already written (or is writing now).  Some are a retelling, and some show stories in the same universe that weren't covered in the books.

Making Room

I have a collection of Fiestaware that we use for our daily dishes.  I got them all in sets of each color, so they each came with two plates, a bowl and a mug.  I don't really need 12 mugs for daily use, and they've been taking up too much room in my cupboard.  Also, I want to display all the pretty colors, or what's the point in having them?  I finally put some small shelves up on the wall that helped get things started.

I didn't put up the orange ones because they faded into the background a bit too much.  Hopefully someday I will get a glass-doored cupboard or a hutch so that I can display more than just the mugs.
