Strut Your Mutt

This is the second year we have attended Strut Your Mutt, a fundraiser for No More Homeless Pets in Utah. Several thousand people decended on Sugarhouse Park with dogs in tow. The day starts with a group walk around the park, then there are fun activies, booths, demonstrations and entertainment.

Last year we found Course A'Lure, but we got there late enough that the day was already booked. We really wanted to let the pups try it this year, so we headed there first thing. We paid for 5 runs and got going before the group walk even started. We let Damage do 1 run and Zoe got to do the other 4, mostly because she is way better at it than he is.

UPDATE! Course A'Lure finally put the results up on their web page and Zoe was one of the fastest dogs there! I think we might try to head down to Thanksgiving Point this weekend and give it another shot.

Memorial Day Weekend

We decided to go down to Goblin Valley for the weekend, and hike the Little Wildhorse / Bell Canyon loop. We have distinct lack of planning skills sometimes. We decided to go camping on Wednesday way after all the camp spots at the state park were reserved, of course. We figured we have a camper and we can rough it if we have to.

We left Saturday morning. By the time we got to Highway 6, it had started to rain. The rain got worse the closer we got to our destination. We started seeing people headed the opposite direction - going home early. We got to Goblin Valley State Park, and amazingly enough there were available campsites. We paid for a spot, then went to the valley overlook.

There were still people out in the valley in the rain. They all came back covered in mud.

We decided that looked like fun - plus it's a desert. When else are we going to get this chance?

The boys decided to make mud angels.

We were worried that we weren't going to get to do our hike since it was raining so hard and we were in flash flood country planning to hike through a slot canyon. But Sunday dawned bright and clear, and we decided that we would go on our hike after all.

My Phone

Patrick decided to get a phone exactly like mine; even the same color. We can't really tell them apart without turning them on, so I thought I would decorate mine. I found a really cute wall vinyl sticker from sixunderatree on Etsy and asked her to shrink if for me, which she happily did. I just put it on my phone and it is super cute!

My Little Brother's Birthday

Paige is on a mission and I have no idea what he can and can't have. We finally decided on things just to make him laugh. Happy Birthday Paige!

Computer Certification

This is the certification page out of the manual for my grandma's new computer. Notice the contact name? Nice. I should email and see if I get a reply.
