I recently took a class at Jo-Ann to learn how to crochet. I wanted to learn because I've been seeing so many cute amigurumi creatures like these from Cutiful Creations that I gave my sister at her baby shower.
I heard about a website called Ravelry which is apparently a must-use site if you are either a crocheter or a knitter. I signed up for an account, and it is a really great site. Lots of free patterns and photos of completed projects. The only problem is that now I have dozens of adorable things I want to make. I had absolutely no idea how much you can do with crocheting. Guess I better get to practicing more!

I love these haxagonal shapes.
Who knew potholders and coasters could be so cute?
I was married to my high school sweetheart on June 22, 2002 when I was 19. We don't have any human children, but we have plenty of the furry variety: 2 dogs and 5 cats. We enjoy the outdoors and try to spend as much of summer outside as we can.
